UNSC Infinity. Looks nice and shiny! The clouds look so puffy :)

I’m still baffled at the quality of these flipping graphics… It’s so gorgeous.
A collection of facial expressions for Fin!
This is part of my process of solidifying the style and designs of Infinite 9. I particularly like these expression sheets, especially in Fin’s case, because it helps to show that he’s not a stagnant or boring protagonist. He has a very wide range of moods and emotions that make him interesting and hopefully more identifiable for readers of the comic.
Not to mention he’s a fairly soft-spoken, meek sort of a character. So his expressions definitely come in handy. XD
Oh, hai, just reblogging these great expressions hai Eva.
A;LGKLTHTHJK HAI BANE~! I’VE MISSED YOU~! ;u; <3

I started working on this as little more than an experiment in adding texture to my art, so that I might be able to apply some new techniques to this latest batch of commissions… but of course, I couldn’t stop once I started and wound up making a full-fledged “Real Stitchpunk” out of it. XD Truth be told, I’d been wrestling with the idea of doing one of these for quite a while now, but I’d been putting it off for so long because I didn’t think I’d actually be able to do it so well. I’m actually more than satisfied with the results. It felt nice to once again flex my photo-manipulation skills after a couple years of avoiding it, and I learned quite a lot by doing this piece that I can apply to my work in the future. 8D
I also formatted the image to resemble what I9 would look like as a film. I apologize in advance for the black bars. XD
Hope you all enjoy it! Click “download” to view at full-res and let me know what you think~ <3

Lately I’ve been examining my art style when it comes to drawing stitchpunks, and I’ve realized that as much as I’m entitled to my own style, I wanted to try and make it so that they were a little more accurate to the original film, at least on the side of the males. I tend to forget about those saggy little bums and those adorable pudgy bellies~ XD So this is part 1 of a series of exercises to try and bring my style closer to emulating the stitchpunk’s proportions from the film, while still maintaining my own sense of form.
And as a nice change of pace, I decided to draw Fin without his shawl, just to show how his upper body looks underneath. So you’re pretty much looking at nekkid Fin right now. XDDD I also like his new, slightly poofier hair-style much better than the one he had before… It’s not a huge difference, but I think it gives him a little more character. <3
