PERO SI ESTAS IGUAL :’D … matenla.

They all look the same….don’t know what you talkin about.

Okay, I’ve really tried to ignore this, but it keeps coming back up, so I’m going to have a little sit down with everyone.

Before this, I had never heard of Milky Holmes. She is not supposed to BE Sherlock Holmes, but a derivative work themed as such. Both the UK and US version are literally Sherlock Holmes, and follow his storyline.

I think we can all agree Sherlock Holmes is not a girl. So, if we’re going to talk about the Japanese version of a derivative work about a detective that has a lot of themes and elements derived from SH directly, let me introduce all the westerners to something that Japan has had since 1994; Meitantei Conan/Detective Conan. Some of you might know it as Case Closed. The main character is Shinichi, who has to end up making the pseudonym Conan Edogawa.

Here is a screenshot of Shinichi, a normal Japanese boy teenage detective:

So ZOMG, Japan can do it right, and has been for 18 years. Stop being asshats.

tl;dr: The pink haired girl isn’t supposed to be Sherlock, so stop saying she is. :[

^ This.

Getting pretty tired of people assuming Japan “moe-fies” everything, too, by the way.

Oh also, PLEASE USE “JPN,” NOT “JAP.”
