*flops* FINALLY. This one took so much longer to finish than I had hoped. @_@ Lately I’ve just been so lacking in inspiration… Regrettable though it was, I decided it would be best to set this commission aside until I could muster up something that wouldn’t betray my abilities. And honestly? I am ridiculously proud of how it turned out in the end. The background is one of the best I’ve ever done, and the change in style worked far better than I could have hoped for.
Of course, I’ll let ~Azvolrien judge that for herself. XD But either way, Sixte was immensely fun to create a poster for, and I’m glad I decided to wait—I wouldn’t have wanted to hash out a piece without putting in worthy effort.

Thought of naming her 17 (it sounds kinda similar to C-D haha) but I decided against it. Glad that I did too - my god there are alot of 17s out there! All of them are epic too dkhlkhg
So she’s called CD because she uses a sharpened CD-disc as a weapon. Because I can. She doesn’t tell her real name to any one rlsdhlkg
And BTW - my nickname is C-D, with the ‘-’ there. CD is just CD without the line.

StitchpunkChallenge Day 9: 77
Here is my main villainous lady 77. Her intentions were always under developed but she has definitely be dealt a bad hand in life, reflected in her masochistic personality.
Unfortunately I redesigned her a while back and she she resembles Evayo’s Eris which makes me fear people think I stole the design, which wasn’t my intention!! D8
PFFFT oh man, I love her~ I don’t think she’s so similar to Eris that I’d ever consider it stolen. It’s just the hairstyle that’s kinda the same, but even then I wouldn’t think twice about it. XD If anyone ever tries to tattle on you, I’ll give them a swift kick in the butt. :3
More Infinite 9 facial expressions! :D
I have a few more of these sheets stowed away for the other characters, and I’ll get to uploading them soon, but I’m so happy with the way Pan’s turned out. Her story arc runs parallel to Fin’s in a way, but her emotional journey is ultimately very different, having had years prior to establish her own identity. Her experiences, and the decisions she will be forced to make, will change her.
But of course, there is no Pan without her silliness. <3
A rough concept sketch of Jeri Fisher, a brand new character of mine.
I wanted to create a scenario in which an upstanding young woman is morally compromised when her little brother is put in danger, and unwittingly resorts to murdering the man responsible in order to protect him. The story would revolve around her attempts to hide the truth of what she’d done, thereby coming to face further conflict as the lines between good and bad blur.
I came up with this idea during a sleepless night, but I really like it. It has sort of a Breaking Bad/Death Note feel. I’ve never really tried something like it, but I’d definitely love to expand it at some point.
With all the focus I put on the main cast, it’s sometimes easy to forget just how many colorful side-characters inhabit the world of Infinite 9. This cutie in particular was originally conceived by my good friend Jazz for an amazing I9 fanfic she’d written, and I loved the idea so much that I just had to add her into the canon. XD
So, as a (very) belated birthday present, I decided it was high-time I designed her and fleshed out her character a bit! Lavender is the current director of “Lavender Engineering,” named after her grandmother who was responsible for the design and construction of the colony’s mobile caravan. She is, quite simply, an artist when it comes to building stitchpunk machinery of all shapes and sizes. She can most often be found tending to the caravan’s engines when the colony is in motion.

This is part of my process of solidifying the style and designs of Infinite 9. I particularly like these expression sheets, especially in Fin’s case, because it helps to show that he’s not a stagnant or boring protagonist. He has a very wide range of moods and emotions that make him interesting and hopefully more identifiable for readers of the comic.
Not to mention he’s a fairly soft-spoken, meek sort of a character. So his expressions definitely come in handy. XD
