Infinite 9 - Style & Color Tests

Infinite 9 is such a horrendously slow production, which is partly due to the fact that my imagination far exceeds my talent. So much of the process of making it has been in figuring out how to accurately portray the look and feel of this world and its characters based on what I see in my head — because as it happens, my mind likes to work far more with visuals rather than writing.

Because of that, the art style has changed drastically, and this is just one of several tests I’ve done in nailing it down. I like to think of it as if Mamoru Hosoda (of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Summer Wars fame) directed a post-apocalyptic stitchpunk western. :P
